What Fabric partner status means for customers
A sourced explanation of Data-Driven's Fabric partner listing, verified capabilities, support boundaries, and customer benefits.
In July 2024, Data-Driven announced that Microsoft had included the company as a Microsoft Fabric Featured Partner.
This page preserves that announcement. Partner lists and designations change, so the 2024 statement should not be treated as proof of current featured status.
What the recognition established
At the time, the listing connected Data-Driven with Fabric consulting and implementation work.
It did not by itself establish:
- early access to every Fabric feature
- enhanced Microsoft product support for each customer
- exclusive product information
- a guarantee of integration quality
- a measured customer outcome
Those claims appeared in the old article without supporting evidence and are not retained here.
What can be verified now
Microsoft Marketplace currently publishes Data-Driven offers related to Fabric. One example is the Data-Driven Fabric Accelerator listing.
A Marketplace listing identifies the publisher and offer. It does not replace technical, commercial, security, or customer-reference review.
Microsoft also maintains a Fabric partners directory. Because directory membership can change, check it at the time of procurement.
Fabric capability still needs a workload match
Microsoft Fabric combines data integration, engineering, science, warehousing, databases, real-time intelligence, and Power BI around OneLake.
A partner may be strong in some of those areas and less relevant in others. Define the workload before evaluating the supplier.
Record:
- source systems and data volumes
- analytical, operational, or real-time requirements
- identity, network, and governance constraints
- capacity and cost ownership
- deployment and support responsibilities
- acceptance and performance evidence
Microsoft’s current Fabric overview provides the maintained product scope.
What to verify with Data-Driven
Ask for current evidence that matches the proposed work:
- the active Microsoft partner designation
- the named delivery team’s relevant certifications
- a reference for a similar workload
- the proposed architecture and responsibility split
- security and governance controls
- support, change, and incident arrangements
This is more useful than relying on a featured-partner badge from a past announcement.
The customer benefit is accountable delivery
A partner can reduce discovery and implementation effort when it brings relevant patterns, people, and evidence.
The benefit depends on the agreed scope and the team that delivers it. Confirm those details before treating any partner status as a reason to proceed.
