What the climate certification record covered

Data-Driven published a Climate Active carbon-neutral record for a defined reporting period and organizational boundary. That record is evidence for the period it names. It does not, by itself, prove current certification or later progress.

The maintained Climate Pledge page links the signed disclosure and records its dates, entities, measured footprint, and retired units.

Separate four parts of the record

Boundary

The disclosure names the entities, activities, and dates included in the account. Results should not be extended beyond that boundary.

Inventory

The emissions inventory measures sources using the method described in the record. It is the starting point for reduction and offset decisions.

Reduction plan

Targets and planned actions are not completed results. A later disclosure is needed to show whether the organisation delivered them.

Offsets

Retired units address the residual footprint for the stated period. They do not show that the underlying emissions source disappeared.

Why the archive remains useful

The source gives buyers and team members a specific record to inspect. It is more useful than a broad sustainability promise because it fixes the reporting dates, boundary, units, and stated goals.
